I know what you are thinking I must be kidding - right?

Think about our target market. Who are they and how do they access their information? It is a statistic that only 7% of people over age 65 are online. That means that 93% of our target market is accessing information by other sources such as the newspaper, television and the RADIO!

How do you do it? There are many options available to you. Offer your services to the Saturday Morning local interest station. There are many of these and your cost will be zilch. They are always looking for guests and if you offer a newsworthy topic it is very easy to get yourself on the air and it will be a clever annuity marketing tactic.

A possible target may be, Uncover the facts about Long Term Care Insurance or How to manage your IRA for maximum income. There are so many topics available to you that a little imagination will leave you with endless possibilities.

How about pay to play? Easy to do and lots of sources. I like the idea of a Saturday Morning slot and if you can get it close to 10:00 it is perfect. Buy the air time for 30 minutes and talk about your list of topics. Have you ever thought about doing an annuity seminar on the radio? Just repeat the strong points of your seminar over the air and invite people to call in for questions.

Have the station capture the callers information like address and number.

Offer a booklet to mail out after the show. The callers are all solid prospects and because you are on the RADIO you are a perceived expert!

Trade air time for commercials. This idea really works, offer the station an advertising commitment for air time. Trade $1,000 of commercials for the hour of air time.

What do you advertise?

Your radio program! How about peripheral annuity marketing? Ask the station for permission to use their name on your web site or your printed materials. Have fun with this and be informal while at the same time being the local EXPERT.

Your radio show can be cross marketed to your existing client base and to all new prospects you meet. Oh, you are the radio guy. Instant credibility!

There are numerous ways to find annuity leads, be different and be creative and your annuity marketing results will explode.

Everyday there is a real estate agent who has become a crime statistic. Many of you Realtors feel that crime is not going to happen to you. You may be right because chances are it will not. According to law enforcement officials and security professionals, real estate is considered a "high-risk" profession. Sales agents are on the road, usually work alone, frequently interact with strangers, and visit unoccupied properties.

The following is some tips for a Realtor to ensure his/her safety:

  1. Be suspicious of everyone. This is no benefit in being paranoid. Being a bit cautious can keep you from getting into a vulnerable situation. Be cautious of a man showing up alone. Assume that he will show up in a nice car, well dressed, perhaps with his wife and kids along for the ride. He might have a business card saying he is an engineer or a pharmacist. Do NOT let your guard down. He might decide to make you a target after two or three meetings. He wants to earn your trust first. You feel comfortable carrying jewelry and cash before he chooses that it is safe to move in.
  2. Identify and pre-qualify during your first meeting. Whether you are at your office or meeting at the house, get a picture ID. Also, it may be to your benefit that the potential client purchasing a house is pre-qualified. Somebody who is pre-qualified by a lender and meets you at your place of work is less likely to be a predator. Make a file with the client's identification and include his personal information, such as license plate number, make and model of the car he is driving, and employer phone numbers.
  3. Maintain contact with the office. Before showing a house, tell your co-workers, spouse, or friend where you are going and when you will return. Have this person call you at a designated time to check on you. It might be helpful to have this person set an alarm on their cell phone as a reminder. A "buddy" system where you call in has advantages. Have a designated in-out file. Use a clip board, cork board, e-mail, or voicemail system that everybody can access.
  4. Have a plan for safe open houses. Bring a friend and carry a cell phone. Take a few minutes noting all the vulnerable points located within the property and how you would escape if necessary. When somebody walks in say to the client, "I'd be happy to show you the benefits of this home and in a few minutes, my partner, Rex, will be along to help me." When a couple comes to preview the house, ask that they remain together. Often, they split up. One has your attention while the other rifles through the jewelry boxes and drawers for anything of value. In high crime areas, especially blue-collar areas, consider hiring an off duty police officer to watch over the property during a showing.
  5. Use predetermined code words to alert your office of distress. Use the colors of a traffic light: red, yellow, and green to alert your office of your levels of distress. For example, say to your caller, "It's in the green folder" letting the office know that you are okay. Or, "it's in the yellow folder" telling your office that you are in a shaky situation and you might need help. Consider using an acronym for help such as Have Emily Leave the Papers at 401 Main Street.
  6. Conduct safe personal marketing. To a stalker, your picture on a sign or in print is a personal advertisement. He makes the determination if you have the "look" of a prey that he is seeking. Keep your pictures "professional" rather than "attractive." Use your cell phone number as opposed to your home phone number on the advertisement. If possible, use a personal 800 number which you can subscribe to anywhere in place of a home or cell phone number. Use P.O. boxes in place of your home address.
  7. Use the buddy system. If possible, bring a co-worker. There is safety in numbers. Predators prefer isolation. By pairing up with a buddy, you reduce the chances of a potential attack.
  8. Dress for safety and success. Do not wear expensive necklaces or rings. A $2500 diamond ring buys a lot of drugs. Dress professionally and not provocatively. Scarves and loose fitting items can give attackers something to grab onto. Wear shoes you can run and kick with so that you can defend yourself in case of an attack.
  9. Do NOT take predators for a ride. Do not allow the client to ride in your car if you do not know who he is. Properly identify him. Make sure he is a client and not a potential attacker. Ensure you have taken the necessary precautions ahead of time before you are put in an isolated situation. If you feel uneasy about a client, let him follow you to the location and bring along a buddy. If he gets into your car and makes attempts to control you, put on your seatbelt and ram into a stationary object such as a parked car or a telephone pole.
  10. Heed your intuition. Trust your gut instinct if you feel troubled by your new client. If something feels wrong, then it is wrong. Cancel your appointment with him if necessary.
  11. Know how to defend yourself. Your life is worth fighting for. It is necessary to defend yourself if you are ever placed in a situation that would put you in harm's way. Aim for the eyes, throat, groin, and the top of his foot. Ground fighting is an advantage that few people realize they have. Kicking the knees and the groin is very effective when you are lying on the ground. Scream, yell, gouge, bite, and fight with whatever you have. Carry some pepper spray, stun gun, or a kubaton keychain in your coat pocket. Have a ball point pen ready to jab. It has been estimated that 80% of women who fought back against an attacker escaped. You have the power within you.

SIP trunking is becoming a very popular way to connect to the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN). Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling protocol, widely used for setting up and tearing down multimedia communication sessions such as voice and video calls over the Internet. Instead of a line from your local provider (AT&T, Verizon, etc..) you connect to one of a number of SIP trunk providers, sometimes referred to as Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP). They can provide telephone numbers in most of the area codes and provide features like Direct Inward Dial (DID) and Caller-Id over the SIP trunk. Think of Vonage, but on an enterprise scale.

What is confusing to a lot of people is that the SIP Trunk is a logical connection. It is not like POTs, T1 or PRI that are physical connections. The most common ways to connect to the ITSP is over the Internet or a private MPLS circuit. The biggest limitation of using the Internet is the lack of Quality of Service (QOS), but it is surprising how well it works.

SIP Trunks have been supported in Cisco Unified Communications Manager for awhile. Configuring SIP trunks directly into UCM has it limitations. This is why Cisco has recently added expanded SIP trunking support on their routers. Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) is a feature set that can be added to the voice gateway. There is an added cost for the software, but when compared with the cost savings of going to SIP it can make a lot of sense.

GE Cordless 2.4 GHz 27831FE1 Phone with Call Waiting Caller ID - Black

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:andnbsp;andnbsp;1 YEAR

Do you have a product or service you would like people to know more about?

Are you having trouble getting people to read all there is to know about your fabulous new product or service?

It is a challenge for most small business owners these days to be able to fully tell people what their products and services can do for them in a short advertisement or short presentation. People are time poor these days, everyone is vying for position and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to stand out from the crowd.

This can often leave you feeling frustrated and ready to throw in the towel.

You either have to spend a lot of money on advertising or find more creative ways to get your message to people in a quick and easy format.

If you have a website or database there is an easy way to get your message to people in a format that will help them and you all at the same time.

Free teleclasses are a wonderful way for people in all industries to get their message across to a wide audience. Teleclasses are not only a really quick and easy way for you to not only tell the world about your products but they also allow you to become known as an expert in your field.

You don't even have to have anyone on the call with you; you can simply dial in, record your information and make it available on your website as a download or a clickable link.

So How Do Free Teleclasses work?

Anything that is free is hard for many people to turn down. By taking the fee out of the conversation, it takes away people's resistance. There are no price barriers for them to clamper over and there is no up front investment. It is called "tryvertsing" - people get to try before they buy.

These days teleclass technology is so advanced people don't even need to be on the call to get value from your free teleclass. They simply listen to it when they have time. This is called podcasting or downloading to an mp3 player. They can listen to your class in the car or at the gym or while sitting on the deck enjoying a glass of red wine at the end of the day.

The trick with these free teleclasses is that people need to be given a reason to attend. You just can't give them your sales pitch and hope they will buy. In fact if you hard sell them won't buy because they will hang up in the first few minutes of the call.

So this is where your expertise steps in. You add value by giving them something they want to know or will add value to their life or business during the call. The more value you give and the more interesting and engaging your topic is, the more likely they are to listen to your call and buy your product at the end.

I can hear you saying but why would I give away my knowledge and expertise?

Because sharing builds trust and people buy from people they trust.

So in a one hour teleclass you spend a big chuck of time giving extreme value for the people on the call and at the end you tell the callers how your new product could help them over come a problem or benefit them in some way.

Do you hard sell them? Definitely not! But if you have added enough value and explained well enough why your product or service can benefit them, then you won't have to hard sell anything.

At Empowering Women our goal is to give women the tools they need to create and maintain their own independence, confidence and lifestyle.

Ring, Ring, What Number is That on My Caller ID?

It seems like almost everyone loves caller ID. After all, at home caller ID can tell you who is calling before you answer as well as their phone number. For cell phones, the phone number is still available, but not the name of the owner. But no matter what kind of phone you use, you still have the problem of unrecognized to deal with. After all, even if most of the strange numbers on caller ID aren't worth worrying about, thinking that all of them are no big deal could you leave you open for disaster. Luckily, finding out about the numbers on caller ID is easy and simple, if you use a reverse phone lookup.

Reverse phone lookups are websites that make it easy for people just like you to get all the phone owner information they need. If you enter a strange or unrecognized number into a reverse phone lookup, in mere seconds you can learn information about the phone's owner. And unlike caller ID, which only works on listed land line numbers, reverse phone lookups offer reports about almost any phone number, even those that are mobile numbers or ones that aren't listed in other directories.

That means that no matter what kind of phone number calls you, you can almost always take their number directly from caller ID and use it to learn more about that person. This way, you can get a head-start on identifying people you might not want to choose to talk with over the phone. After all, dialing a strange number without prior research could have serious consequences.

So instead of just staring intently at your caller ID, trying to remember who's phone number that might be, find out http://www.tracethisphonenumber.com who owns a phone number by using a reverse phone lookup. And the next time you need information regarding a strange phone number for almost any number don't hesitate to seek out the services of a reverse phone lookup again.

GE Corded Retro Phone with Call Waiting/Caller ID

Caller ID Review and Delete allows you to scroll through the list of incoming calls and delete those not wanted. New Call Indicator alerts user that new call was received. 10 Number Memory speeds dialing of frequently used numbers. Flash Function allows access to subscription telephone services like 3-Way calling. Tone/Pulse Switchable Dialing - Allows any combination of tone and pulse for access to long-distance service. The Retro Phone is hearing aid compatible.

I bet you know just how frustrating it is not being able to identify who is calling you...you just feel so powerless! Whether or not the caller leaves a phone number after they have called, they rarely leave a name...especially if they don't want to be identified. Most often with a cell phone all you are left with is the number, that is if it is not unlisted. It's nice to know who is calling you because we usually only give our number out to people we trust or know; there really is nothing worse than someone you don't know having your number - how did they get it? Fortunately there is a Cell Phone Numbers Look Up service that offers you uncovering the identity of that unknown caller/business before you commit yourself to taking that call.

For pretty obvious reasons it is very difficult, if not impossible, to trace a cell phone number without the aforementioned service. The main reason is customer/cell phone service provider privelage. in other words these service providers jealously guard their customers identities and other sensitive information pertaining to them. Faced with this it is understandably daunting when you need to identify that caller. Well, with the assistance of a Cell Phone Numbers Look Up service, following a very brief registration and the payment of an extremely nominal fee, all that you need to do is enter the cell phone number you wish to trace and within minutes you will be presented with a very detailed report. The reason you pay this nominal fee, is to ensure that the information you receive from these reverse cell lookup directories is completely up-to-date and accurate! You very rarely get free service being better than a paid one, however low the fee is you pay. Another great reason for this service is that many marketing companies now use cell phones to cold call their prospects to try and avoid you identifying them as marketing companies before you pick up. Well we got them beat on that count also with this service.

Therefore, you could almost class the Cell Phone Numbers Look Up service as a call filtering service. It takes away the frustration of you not having to worry about who is calling you and thus puts you back in control. The service is carried out in complete confidence and, furthermore, you'll never again have to miss those calls you should be taking because now you can differentiate between calls that need to be taken, and obviously those that can be ignored. Power is everything!

To find out who owns any cell number, use this professional Cell Phone Numbers Look Up service. Just Click Here to have the information you require in minutes!
